I don't see any staying power here. I think this sort of project would be better suited to a YouTube channel. Sketch comedy still requires some structure and story arcs to hold an audience's attention. Thats why even AFV has a host - people can't watch 22 minutes of random stuff happening for more than a few episodes..if that. I think if you upped your production level (even a DSLR would be fine), and worked your ability to sing/make music into some skits that have re-occuring characters, a definite structure, and some planned out gags, you'd have a better shot :)
Compared to other teaser videos out there, there are some really good one to compete against, this one just doesn't come close
You two are quirky and fun! This has the feel of a YouTube web series and I think you can stretch your potential further by increasing your production level. I would stop by FAVA in Edmonton or connect with some camera crew people who can assist you with the technical aspects so you can take it to the next level.
